About Omnibrokers

OMNI Capital (FE) Limited (Hong Kong) – was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1971 and is also known as OmniCap. OmniCap was set up to provide various financial services (including insurance brokerage) to the Expatriate community worldwide with focus on those living and working in Asia. Services included a full line of insurance products but mainly focused on personal insurance plans such as worldwide medical, life, accident, travel and disability income. Incorporated and managed by Expats, OmniCap marketed its services to other Expats involved in the Vietnam War, the construction industry and also the ASEAN oilfields. Business spread through customer referrals to other foreigners working or living away from home and in locations around the globe. Today the company handles families on nearly every continent. Most accounts serviced by the company are standard and tailored worldwide individual, family and group International Medical Insurance or HealthCare plans for Omni’s traditional Expat market. In more recent years an increasing number of customers are local nationals who frequently travel away from their home country and want ample Healthcare protection when doing so.

In February 2000 OmniCap launched its long-awaited International HealthCare value-added services concept. This Internet driven service bureau program currently enjoys the benefit of numerous inquiries that are leading to new customers from every continent on earth. Acting as a unique bureau of Healthcare Plan information, comparison, sales and assistance OmniCap has been instrumental in helping a measurable number of existing planholders better understand their entitlements.

OmniCap handles the largest number of different International HealthCare plan companies by any brokerage source that we are aware of. OmniCap estimates that the number will continue to grow, but selectively and slowly. Sometimes a plan company has to be removed as well when deemed necessary. Through this current group, a top range of well-known plans is available to searching new planholders and existing ones alike. Plans purchased previously from this group of plan companies can be serviced by OmniCap’s bureau for existing planholders. OmniCap’s unique one-stop shop for HealthCare plans is fast becoming the favorite brokerage source. Appointment of OmniCap as “Broker of Record” is frequently chosen by existing planholders to assure them of OMNI’s ongoing professional and efficient plan services with the plan companies on our list. If they are not on our list and we find them qualified to participate, OmniCap will seek a servicing arrangement with them based on customer interest and quality of plan benefits offered.

Though Omni Capital is incorporated in Hong Kong, Omni Insurance Brokers(Philippines) provides much of the liaison services required from their Manila office. Either the Manila or Hong Kong office may be contacted on any further inquiry.

Products Offered: OmniCap has added to HealthCare Plans other personal lines of insurance coverage for the International Citizens we seek to serve. These additional insurance products are; Annual & Trip Travel, Life, Accident & Disability, Income Protection, Critical Illness and Retirement Pensions. Top-Up international Major Medical plans are also offered to supplement low-level local HealthCare plan benefit limits. Tailored plans for groups ranging between 5 and 5,000 employees are designed to compete in the marketplace in cost and benefit application. OmniCap’s Review and Report service is often used when prospective clients are studying group schemes prior to renewal. We organize associated groups of families, professionals or others with common identity for the benefit of obtaining discounts or special privileges awarded by Healthcare Plan companies. No-claims discounts are offered by some companies at renewal.
Special Services: Prospective clients are offered a FREE (no obligation) executive electronic Review & Report service on existing plans secured from other brokers or agents. The objective of this report is to provide a second professional opinion and to also give OmniCap the opportunity of illustrating to potential clients the level of service available to them from our firm. Many planholders that receive their review and report consequently opt to appoint OmniCap as their “Broker of Record” to assure themselves of continued client services from OmniCap’s bureau.

OMNI Expatiate Benefits Association. Ltd. (Hong Kong) – OEBA was incorporated in 1990 as a membership association of expatriates living around the world. The purpose of the association is to provide its members with access to various goods and services at a discount or with special privileges awarded. Primarily these products are insurance plans. Unlike Omni Capital, which handles tailored medical plans and other special risks, OEBA focuses on buyers of only standard designs of off-the-shelf medical plans. These standard worldwide medical insurance policies are today a major source of business for OEBA. Members who purchase their plans through the Association enjoy discounts of 5-10%. This means that OEBA is one of the most competitive sources of worldwide medical insurance in the international marketplace.
